Referral Program Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

To refer others and earn a referrer reward, you must have an active, paid MileWise subscription at the time the referred person completes a qualifying subscription. Starting or using a free trial does not make you eligible to refer.

Anyone may use a valid unique referral link to subscribe. Participation is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Referral Terms.

2. How the Program Works

Eligible subscribers receive a unique referral link. There is no referral code. A referred person ("Referral") must subscribe through that unique link for the referral to count.

There is no limit on the number of people an eligible subscriber may refer, provided each Referral independently completes a qualifying subscription as described below.

3. Referral Reward (for the Referred Person)

A person who subscribes through a valid unique referral link is eligible to receive: (a) a 30-day free trial, and (b) $20 off their first annual MileWise plan when they convert to a paid annual subscription.

The $20 discount applies only to the first year of an annual plan and does not apply to monthly plans or to later renewal years unless we state otherwise. The discount cannot be redeemed for cash and has no cash value.

4. Referrer Reward

If a Referral completes a qualifying paid annual subscription through your unique link, you will receive a $20 Amazon.com gift card, subject to these Referral Terms.

A qualifying subscription means the Referral has subscribed to a paid annual plan. Starting a free trial, by itself, does not qualify and does not earn a referrer reward. The reward is earned only after the Referral converts to a paid annual subscription.

Qualifying referrer rewards are issued 15 business days after the Referral's paid annual subscription begins. Gift cards are typically delivered by email to the email address associated with your MileWise account. Amazon.com is not a sponsor of this Program. Gift cards are subject to Amazon's terms and conditions. Rewards have no cash alternative unless we choose to provide one.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

If the Referral cancels or receives a refund of the qualifying paid subscription, the corresponding referrer reward is void. A voided reward will not be issued. If a gift card has already been issued, we reserve the right to require repayment of the reward amount or to offset it against future rewards.

6. Changes to the Program

We may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time. If we end the Program, referrer rewards that were already earned for a qualifying paid subscription, and that have not been voided under Section 5, will still be paid in accordance with these Referral Terms.

We may update these Referral Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date above when we do. Your continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Referral Terms.

7. Taxes

Referral rewards, including gift cards, may be treated as taxable income under applicable law. You are solely responsible for any taxes that apply to rewards you receive. This is not tax advice; consult your own tax advisor.

If required by law, we may request tax information from you (such as a Form W-9) and may issue an applicable information return (for example, a Form 1099) for rewards meeting the then-current reporting threshold. Failure to provide requested tax information may delay or prevent issuance of a reward.

8. Disqualification

We may withhold, deny, or void rewards, and may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program, if we reasonably believe a referral was obtained through fraud, abuse, or any violation of these Referral Terms or our Terms of Service.
